ReAgent Chemical Services Selects Winston-Salem; Invests $4.8 Million, Creates 30 Jobs

ReAgent Chemical Services, Ltd., a United Kingdom-based chemical manufacturer, has selected a site in Winston-Salem to establish a new facility. The company manufactures laboratory and other specialty chemicals to a wide range of industries. The company will generate 30 new jobs and $4.8 million in capital investment over five years.

“Having identified significant potential for our products and services in the US, we began our search for a new location. North Carolina stood out for a variety of reasons including geographic location, proximity to customers and suppliers, and a good manufacturing labor market. We identified an ideal property enhanced by all of those assets here in Winston-Salem. We are excited to locate here, and eager to grow our US presence in the future. In the long term, we envision our US facility will be larger than our UK base,” says Richard Hudson, CEO of ReAgent Chemical Services.
ReAgent will look to fill up to 30 new jobs in the short-term including management, sales positions, chemical production, warehousing, and quality control. The average annual wage will be just above $59,000.

Rollease Acmeda Begins Operations in Hope Mills; Creates 50 Jobs

Rollease Acmeda, a worldwide company in the window covering industry, has begun operations at a new state-of-the-art facility in Cumberland County. The company create at least 50 local jobs. The facility, located off Tom Starling Road, includes 100,000 SF of distribution space and will serve as the hub for the Americas region. The company has also dedicated space to manufacturing and is projected to produce over a million units annually.

GMAX Industries Chooses Winston-Salem; Invests $11.4 Million, Creates 36 Jobs

GMAX Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of medical products, will create 36 new jobs in Forsyth County. The company will invest $11.4 million to establish its first North American production facility in Winston-Salem.

GMAX provides essential products, including medical textiles, patient bedside plastics and single-use OEM components. The company is expanding its U.S. footprint with a new 144,000 square foot facility to support domestic manufacturing and national distribution. This investment strengthens the healthcare supply chain by shifting production closer to patient demand and increasing resilience across the system.

While wages vary by position, the annual average salary for the new positions will be $66,667, exceeding Forsyth County’s average of $65,319. These new jobs could potentially create an annual payroll impact of more than $2.4 million for the region.

Cascade Die Casting Group Expands in High Point; Creates 43 Jobs and Invests $8 Million

Cascade Die Casting Group, an advanced manufacturer specializing in aluminum and zinc die casting, will expand its existing operations in High Point. The company will invest a minimum of $8 million in new real and personal property improvements, equipment, and machinery, and will create at least 43 new full-time jobs at 1800 Albertson Road and 501 Old Thomasville Road in High Point.

Cascade Die Casting has operated in High Point since 1978 and serves as a Tier 1 supplier to major global brands in the automotive, heavy truck, powersports, and appliance industries — including Ford, Jeep, Bosch, and GE. The company also maintains two additional locations in Michigan.

Joyalways Selects Reidsville; Invest $18 Million and Creates 113 Jobs

Joyalways, a global hygiene products manufacturer, will establish its first U.S.-based wet wipe manufacturing facility in Reidsville, North Carolina. The company will invest more than $18 million and create 113 new jobs with an average annual wage of $54,391 over the next three years.

The company, a subsidiary of Tongling Jieya Biogic Technology Stock Co., Ltd., will repurpose a 216,086-square-foot facility previously occupied by Guy & O’Neill, which closed in January.

“Joyalways is proud to launch our U.S. manufacturing operations in Rockingham County,” said Yingchuan Cai, Chairman at Joyalways. “This facility represents a strategic step forward in bringing production closer to our American customers, while also strengthening our commitment to high-quality hygiene products and sustainable manufacturing practices.”
