The Pyrle to Anchor Downtown Greensboro’s Live-Music Scene

The Pyrle is set to become a primary anchor for the south end of Elm Street, filling a “missing link” in Greensboro’s live-music ecosystem as an intimate, high-energy alternative to the Tanger Center. The multi-level venue features a state-of-the-art Meyer sound system, a large LED wall, and flexible space designed for concerts, film festivals, and corporate presentations. The project places a heavy emphasis on community and workforce development, partnering with GTCC, UNCG, and Guilford College to provide student showcases and technical apprenticeships in sound, lighting, and arts administration. Additionally, the venue will host local initiatives such as the Greensboro Police Department’s GSO CAN public safety program.
