Forsyth County Job Growth on the Rise
Job growth in Winston-Salem Forsyth County is on the rise.
Reports from The Bureau of Labor Statistics show the metro area added more than 10,000 jobs over the last two years. That’s better than similar metro areas in the U.S., including Charlotte and Atlanta.
“I feel it’s our entire economy chipping in and at the same time we have startups that are growing and adding jobs,” said Mark Owens, President & CEO Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce.
Professional and business activities accounted for 43 percent of the two-year gain.
